State-level age verification notes
Several US states (Texas, Utah, Louisiana and others) now require age verification before serving adult content. Mainstream sites handle this in one of two ways: a verification wall (Pornhub in affected states) or a geoblock (Aylo pulled Pornhub entirely from some states rather than implement verification).
If you hit a verification wall or a 'not available in your state' page, it's regulation, not the site breaking. VPN use is a user decision we don't advise on.
Why these specific sites
Pornhub for sheer catalogue and the baseline safety stack. Brazzers / Aylo for premium 4K. Chaturbate for cams. OnlyFans for creator-direct subscriptions. ManyVids for amateur. Candy.ai for AI chat. SexLikeReal for VR. XVideos as the backup free tube.
Together they cover almost every reason an adult viewer in the US opens a browser.
FAQ
Best Porn Sites in the USA — FAQ
Still deciding whether to trust the list? Here's exactly how it works, how it makes money, and what it will never do.
Still have a question? Ask usWhy is Pornhub blocked in my state?
Aylo (the parent company) chose to geoblock entire states rather than implement the state-level age-verification laws. The site itself isn't offline — it just doesn't serve your state's IPs.
Is OnlyFans legal in all US states?
Yes, OnlyFans is nationally available. Some states' AV laws apply to subscription platforms differently; most creator platforms have implemented minimal AV compliance.
Is a VPN illegal for this?
VPN use itself is not illegal in any US state. Terms-of-service may ban it. Legal implications of circumventing state AV laws depend on jurisdiction.
